Paula Baker works as a full time oil painter from her NW Portland studio. A native New Yorker and fourth-generation artist, she has cultivated her artistic journey starting from prestigious institutions such as Professional Children’s School, High School of Art and Design, Art Students League, and Art Center College of Design in California.

Her current body of work and commissioned paintings reflects a lifetime spent immersed in various creative fields including graphic design, fashion illustration, interior and landscape design, and photography Her portraits and collections, which range from Figurative Art to Urban Landscapes, are a testament to the synthesis of these diverse influences. Paula's sophisticated understanding of color, stylized compositions, and the interplay of textures and patterns create a dramatic interplay of light, showcasing the beauty of nature alongside the human form.
