Paula Baker, a native New Yorker and fourth-generation artist, has cultivated her artistic journey through prestigious institutions such as Professional Children’s School, High School of Art and Design, Art Students League, and Art Center College of Design in California. Now based in Portland, Oregon, she dedicates herself to full-time painting from working studio and retail art gallery in the Portland Pearl District.

Her current body of works reflects a lifetime spent immersed in various creative fields—including graphic design, fashion design, illustration, and interior and landscape design, alongside her experience as a commissioned oil portrait painter. Her collections range from figurative art in the Ethereal Collection to Urban Landscapes, each of which are a testament to the synthesis of these diverse influences. Paula's sophisticated application of color, stylized compositions, and the interplay of textures and patterns create a dramatic interplay of light, showcasing the beauty of nature alongside both the human form and the architecture.
